Role Description
The Supply Chain Business Systems Teamleader is responsible for ensuring stable, efficient, and future-ready IT support across the manufacturing and planning landscape in the Benelux region. The role sits at the intersection of Operations, Supply Chain, and IT & Data, safeguarding day-to-day continuity while actively driving digital harmonization and transformation. Operating within a growing digital scope, this position combines hands?on leadership with strong functional expertise and project ownership. The Team Leader oversees both run and change activities, ensuring Manufacturing IT applications deliver consistent value, align with global standards, and support operational excellence across all Benelux business units. The role requires close collaboration with factory teams and regular on?site presence at manufacturing locations in the NL and BE while working closely with regional and global IT & Data stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring availability, performance, and business continuity of Manufacturing and Planning IT applications.
- Leading day-to-day application operations, user support, and service delivery in line with defined SLAs, KPIs, and IT service management principles.
- Coordinating incident, problem, and root-cause management in collaboration with regional and global IT experts.
- Applying IT governance, risk management, compliance, and internal control standards consistently.
- Contributing to the stability and continuous evolution of the Manufacturing IT landscape in line with company architecture and policies.
- Acting as the Benelux IT lead for the Manufacturing domain, providing functional and people leadership.
- Leading, coaching and developing team members and key users, supporting capability building and knowledge depth.
- Supervising and enabling key users at factory level, ensuring adoption, correct system usage, and ongoing skills development.
- Building and maintaining strong domain knowledge across manufacturing, planning, and supply chain processes.
- Promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identifying, shaping, and driving digital improvement, harmonization, and transformation initiatives.
- Leading and contributing to IT & Data roadmap projects in complex, fast-paced operational environments.
- Applying robust project and change management practices to ensure successful delivery and business adoption.
- Ensuring smooth transition from project implementation to steady-state operations.
- Coordinating internal teams and external partners involved in projects or operational support.
- Managing internal and external suppliers, ensuring service quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Owning and controlling budget-intensive OPEX and CAPEX streams with a strong focus on value creation.
- Building sustainable, long-term vendor relationships aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Acting as the primary IT partner for Factory Leadership (Operations, Supply Chain, OT), ensuring alignment and transparent communication.
- Collaborating closely with other IT domains and global IT & Data teams to support end-to-end processes and enterprise platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Manufacturing IT or business systems within an industrial or production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution, planning, and supply chain processes, including: production order management, demand and supply planning, detailed scheduling and capacity planning, S&OP / GPS planning, integration with MES, logistics, and supply chain systems.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Solid background in IT operations, application lifecycle management, and service management frameworks.
- Strong project and change management capabilities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets and strategic supplier relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
- Pragmatic, proactive, and adaptable mindset, comfortable operating in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Benelux manufacturing sites.
