Role Description
The Customer Supply Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring uninterrupted product supply within assigned geographic areas. The role acts as the key interface between customers, planning teams, and manufacturing sites. It focuses on forecast management, order processing, supply issue resolution, and continuous improvement to protect customer supply.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with assigned customers and supply sites
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer supply matters
- Receive, analyze, and process customer forecasts and orders
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to meet demand
- Ensure continuous supply to end customers
- Coordinate closely with planning teams and manufacturing sites
- Proactively identify and resolve supply issues
- Support new product introductions and supply readiness activities
- Perform root cause analysis for supply disruptions
- Implement preventive measures to mitigate future supply risks
- Ensure compliance with global and local regulations, guidelines, and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in customer supply management or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of order management, forecasting, and inventory control
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships independently
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience coordinating with planning and manufacturing teams
- Ability to resolve supply issues proactively
- Experience in regulated or quality driven environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
