Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service & Supply Chain Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service within a highly automated and complex supply chain environment. You will act as a key player in optimizing processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting system upgrades and improvements.

Responsibilities:
•    Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce manual activities, and improve system reliability for faster, more efficient customer service.
•    Manage medium-sized projects and contribute to larger cross-functional programs aimed at boosting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
•    Oversee and execute end-to-end regression testing during system updates to prevent service disruptions.
•    Monitor automated order, delivery, and invoicing workflows (including EDI, web portals, and robotic processes), identify issues through root cause analysis, and implement structural improvements.
•    Act as a primary contact for complex customer and logistics inquiries, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.
•    Collaborate with IT and supply chain teams to develop system enhancements that benefit the customer experience.
•    Support colleagues by sharing best practices and strengthening team collaboration.


Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with more than 3 years of experience, preferably in Customer Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
•    Proven experience in a customer service environment, ideally within the FMCG sector.
•    Fluent in the language of the assigned customer group, with strong written and spoken skills in English.
•    Knowledge of Supply Chain processes within FMCG, including order processing, transport, invoicing, credit/debit handling, and returns.
•    Familiarity with complex ERP systems, customer integration platforms, and digital tools supporting end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
•    Customer-centric mindset with a continuous improvement approach, including experience in projects and process optimization.
•    Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Accurate administrative skills.
•    System affinity, especially with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
•    Dutch language skills are mandatory; French skills are a big plus for the Belgium market.


Other Information:
•    This is a temporary position with potential for a permanent role.
•    The role offers a hybrid working model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote weekly.
•    Shifts include bi-monthly Saturday mornings and bi-monthly on-call duties between 7:00 and 21:00, including a full week of dedicated on-call time.
•    Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience or a master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in Customer Care, Sales Support, Logistics, or Demand Planning.
