About the Role
The Analytical Chemist plays a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and raw materials. This position supports laboratory testing, method development and validation activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role works closely with production and quality teams while receiving structured direction and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and raw materials according to approved procedures
- Execute reaction monitoring, yield checks and stability studies
- Support cleaning validation activities on the manufacturing plant
- Develop, validate and transfer analytical methods to testing laboratories
- Maintain laboratory quality systems including documentation and data integrity
- Ensure instrument qualification, calibration and routine laboratory maintenance
- Develop, review and implement laboratory procedures in line with regulatory requirements
- Operate in compliance with cGMP standards and internal quality policies
Requirements
- Background in analytical chemistry or related scientific discipline
- Hands on laboratory experience in a regulated environment
- Experience with pharmaceutical testing and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with method development, validation and transfer
- Knowledge of cGMP laboratory operations and quality systems
- Strong documentation and procedural skills
- Ability to follow direction while working independently in the laboratory
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
