Role description
As a Lab Technician, you will join the Center of Excellence Microbiology team. You will perform microbiological testing, identifications, and validations to ensure the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, self-managing team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform (rapid) microbial identifications using MaldiTOF and MicroSEQ 16S PCR
• Conduct microbiological test validations in compliance with GMP/GLP and EHS guidelines
• Maintain laboratory operations including stock control, sample handling, and equipment maintenance
• Document results, manage data, and report findings accurately
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team

• MLO or HLO degree in Microbiology
• 1–3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory (pharma experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with MaldiTOF, PCR, and test validation methods preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
• Understanding of GMP/GLP principles
