Our client is a leading player in the food industry, known for delivering high-quality consumer products and continuously improving their production processes. At one of their dynamic production sites, a wide range of dairy products are made daily to meet changing market demand.
 
Role Overview
We are looking for a structured and proactive Production Planner to join the short-term planning team. In this full-time position, you will work closely with three fellow planners to manage the 2-week production planning cycle for a diverse product portfolio. Acting as the bridge between supply chain demand and factory operations, you will work with various departments to ensure production runs on time and efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and manage a short-term production plan (up to 2 weeks ahead).
-Balance demand, inventory levels, capacity, and operational developments.
-Spot and resolve planning issues or bottlenecks early on.
-Monitor and steer key KPIs such as Service Level, Waste, and Inventory.
-Collaborate with departments across the factory and head office.
-Contribute to projects involving new products, process improvements, or IT systems.
-Promote continuous improvement in planning processes and cross-functional coordination.
 
Requirements
-HBO-level education or equivalent experience, ideally in Supply Chain or Logistics.
-Understanding of production and logistics (experience in FMCG or food sector is a plus).
-Experience with planning systems such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, or OMP is a bonus.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
-Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach.
-Good communicator with a focus on results and collaboration.
-Enthusiastic and motivated to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
