Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Services Manager / Farmer Engagement to lead the Account Management teams across the Netherlands and Belgium. In this role, you will drive a customer-focused and commercially minded field service organisation, strengthen relationships with member dairy farmers, lead service improvement initiatives, coach and develop high-performing teams, identify commercial opportunities, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support the ongoing development of the Farmer Engagement strategy in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Field Account Management teams across the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Support the transition towards a more commercial, service-oriented approach to member engagement.
- Strengthen member retention and satisfaction through proactive relationship management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational performance.
- Identify commercial opportunities and translate them into actionable business initiatives.
- Lead projects focused on service excellence, process optimisation, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Farmer Engagement strategy.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between the Dutch and Belgian teams.
- Build strong relationships with dairy farmers and maintain a thorough understanding of developments within the agricultural sector.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, services, and customer experience.
Requirements
- HBO or WO degree in Business, Agriculture, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in commercial leadership, account management, or customer service management.
- Previous experience leading and developing teams within a similar field-based commercial environment.
- Strong affinity with the agricultural sector, preferably dairy farming.
- Proven experience managing organisational change and service improvement initiatives.
- Commercial mindset with excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Power BI and Salesforce.
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership abilities with the capability to connect and motivate teams.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is advantageous.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
