The environment is fast-paced and highly operational, with a strong focus on production continuity, safety, and continuous improvement. The site is actively working on improving line performance and reducing unplanned downtime through a structured, cross-functional approach.

Job Description
We are looking for an Interim Maintenance Reliability Engineer (OEE Improvement) to support a focused improvement intervention on high-volume production lines. The key objective is to structurally reduce technically caused unplanned stops and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). This role is hands-on and shopfloor-based, turning analysis into practical improvements that can be implemented and sustained.

Responsibilities
- Identify and reduce technically caused unplanned downtime on production lines
- Analyze OEE losses from a technical reliability perspective and translate insights into concrete improvements
- Improve and sharpen preventive maintenance approaches to prevent recurring failures
- Drive structured troubleshooting and fault-finding to resolve recurring issues at the root
- Perform root cause analyses focused on long-term prevention and sustainable countermeasures
- Strengthen structured problem solving routines within Maintenance (Tier 1) and support Tier 2 performance discussions with technical input
- Coach and guide maintenance technicians and technical operators on best practices and consistent execution
- Work closely with an operational improvement specialist to ensure technical and operational actions align and deliver measurable line performance improvement
- Support collaboration between Maintenance and Operations to ensure improvements are adopted and embedded

Requirements
Strong experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Reliability Engineer in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
- Proven ability to improve OEE by reducing downtime using analysis and structured problem solving
- Strong skills in root cause analysis, loss analysis, and preventive maintenance improvement
- Practical, hands-on shopfloor mindset with the ability to drive execution
- Able to coach others and influence across Maintenance and Operations
- Comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder environment with a change/improvement focus
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Dutch Mandatory
- Temporary contract (4 months with possible extension)
