Role Description
We are looking for an Associate Scientist – Emerging Technologies to support technical projects within a global Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team. You will contribute to new product introductions, process improvements, technology deployment, and product lifecycle activities while collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist looking to develop expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, process science, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support new product introductions and technology transfer activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement and manufacturing optimization projects.
  • Assist with product and process troubleshooting activities.
  • Support analytical, formulation, and process characterization studies.
  • Participate in validation and technical documentation activities.
  • Perform data analysis using statistical tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
  • Support innovation projects focused on advanced manufacturing technologies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Min 1-2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory practices.
  • Basic understanding of GMP, cGMP, QbD, and PAT principles.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience with process development, characterization, or validation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Analytical, proactive, and eager to learn in a global environment.
