Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician (GMP) to operate and maintain production processes across (semi) automated manufacturing lines within a regulated environment.
This position operates in a 3-shift rotation and plays a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production operations. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives through structured problem-solving and Lean methodologies.
You will collaborate closely with line leads, production supervisors, and cross-functional teams to achieve production targets, quality standards, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate production lines according to GMP standards and approved operating procedures
• Run and monitor manufacturing equipment in a safe and compliant manner
• Perform line changeovers and support accurate production execution
• Monitor, document, and analyse process data
• Troubleshoot process issues using GMP procedures and escalate when required
• Support corrective and preventive actions through structured problem-solving methods
• Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies such as:
o 5-Why
o Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
o Fishbone Analysis
o Kaizen
o Poka Yoke
o TPM
o SMED
• Maintain accurate documentation within SAP and/or MES systems
• Complete effective shift handovers with clear communication
• Ensure training and assigned actions are completed within deadlines
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and line leads to achieve shift goals and KPIs
Requirements:
• Around 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a process or technical operator within GMP/GDP or ISO-certified settings
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Experience using structured troubleshooting methodologies such as 5-Why, RCA, and Kaizen
• Lean / Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification preferred
• Experience working with SAP and/or MES systems
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Technical or process-oriented education such as:
o MBO Technical / Process Education
o VAPRO A or VAPRO B
• Advanced Lean and/or Six Sigma training is considered an advantage
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch
• Analytical, structured, proactive, and accountable mindset
• Flexible to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and changing operational requirements
