Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to manage daily operations within a busy, 5-shift dairy production plant. The role involves leading a team to ensure safety, product quality, and process continuity, while driving improvements and fostering a team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team in a dynamic 5-shift environment, with attention to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Oversee the entire production process, from raw material intake to delivering high-quality - finished products, in close cooperation with other departments and stakeholders.
- Coach, develop, and empower team members, encouraging ownership and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement team plans, translating company goals into actionable tasks to prepare a skilled, future-ready team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively involving the team in identifying  opportunities and implementing optimizations.
- Maintain an overview of operations, ensuring adherence to hygiene, quality standards, and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food production setting, with familiarity of working in a 5-shift schedule.
- Strong coaching and team management skills, with a focus on motivating and developing employees, especially during change processes.
- Experience in the food industry, with knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and hygiene practices.
- Technical affinity with production processes and the ability to manage and oversee technical operations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch; English proficiency is a plus.
- Relevant management and supply chain experience, with a minimum of 5-8 years in similar roles.

Other Information
This position is on-site only and involves shift work, including weekends, following a rotation schedule: 2 days (06:00–14:00), 2 days (14:00–22:00), 2 days (22:00–06:00), with 4 days off. The role offers a temporary contract with potential for a permanent position, starting with a 9-month initial contract.
