Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Commercial Controller to join the finance team. This role supports the North-West Europe business unit, partnering closely with senior leadership and the local commercial teams to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, offering financial insights to support pricing strategies and business growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyse trends, and identify variances against targets and past results, making proactive recommendations to improve profitability.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes with accuracy and transparency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across different departments, influencing decision-making and ensuring alignment between financial and operational goals.
- Ensure effective use of financial systems for planning and control, continuously improve financial processes, and support internal control frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance and controlling, with a solid background in financial business partnering within a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience in commercial controlling and financial performance management.
