The Company
The client is a Dutch/Belgian food manufacturing company focused on frozen snacks, meal components, and private-label food products across Europe.

Role Description
As a Food Production Operator, you are responsible for controlling, coordinating, and monitoring the production process under the supervision of the Shift Manager. You play a key role in ensuring that machines and production lines operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with quality standards. You act as a role model on the shop floor by consistently adhering to strict safety, hygiene, and quality requirements. 

Responsibilities

• Setting up, starting up, adjusting, and converting machines and production lines to ensure smooth operations.
• Verifying the availability and correct use of raw materials and packaging materials. 
• Monitoring the production process and assess output against predefined KPIs, quality, and quantity standards.
• Performing first-line machine maintenance and resolve minor technical issues; escalate major malfunctions to the Shift Manager or Technical Department.
• Conducting routine quality and process checks and report any deviations in a timely manner.
• Accurately recording production data and completing all required administrative documentation.
• Instructing, supporting, and supervising colleagues and temporary workers on correct working methods and procedures.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety, hygiene (HACCP), and quality guidelines. 

Requirements

• MBO-level working and thinking ability.
• Basic technical knowledge and/or experience; experience within the food industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with HACCP and working in a regulated production environment.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on attitude with a willingness to support others.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate colleagues on the shop floor.
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system.
