About the Role
This role leads the QC and Performance function at a specialised nutrition manufacturing site. The position ensures reliable and validated quality data to support safe product release while driving continuous improvement across testing, sampling and process control. You will be part of the local QA management team and play a key role in quality governance and performance optimisation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and reliable quality data for safe product release using validated test methods
- Define and execute site wide testing strategies and sampling plans
- Lead and develop the QC and Performance team responsible for sampling, testing and reporting
- Manage internal and external laboratories in line with ISO17025 requirements
- Review batch records and support QA Operations in release decisions
- Monitor factory hygiene and environmental data and report insights to the organisation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen process robustness and efficiency
- Report and analyse quality KPIs including First Time Right and failure costs
- Support audits, crisis situations and business management reviews
- Collaborate closely with production, R and D, QA and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor level working and thinking level preferably in Food Technology or similar
- 4-7 years of experience in senior QC or QA roles
- Proven people management and coaching experience
- Strong laboratory background with knowledge of validated testing methods
- Experience in food or nutrition manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of statistics, IT tools and quality data analysis
- Affinity with production processes and end use applications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in Dutch is mandatory
