The Company  
A global leader in dairy processing, this production site is one of the largest and most advanced facilities worldwide, employing around 500 people. The site focuses on extracting valuable nutrients from milk and whey, used in products such as sports nutrition, infant formula, pharmaceuticals, and food products.

Role Description
As you are responsible for leading and coordinating the maintenance team, acting as the key link between daily operations and the maintenance team. In this role, you ensure the efficient execution of technical activities aligned with production and maintenance plans, while delivering high-quality maintenance support, optimizing processes, and safeguarding the safety, reliability, and performance of technical installations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 maintenance technicians (day shift and shift workers)
- Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations in alignment with production and planning
- Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards
- Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production equipment and installations
- Act as the main point of contact between maintenance, production, and other stakeholders
- Analyze technical issues and process disruptions, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach, develop, and support team members to enhance skills, autonomy, and collaboration
- Manage resource planning to ensure optimal team capacity and performance
- Lead small-scale maintenance projects and support the Maintenance Manager when required
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and follow-up of maintenance activities


Requirements
- HBO (Bachelor-level) working and thinking level
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial environment
- At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven experience managing and leading teams in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and systems (SAP PM experience is a plus)
- Experience in food, dairy, pharma, or similar regulated industries is an advantage
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured and problem-solving approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in Dutch (mandatory) and good command of English
