Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Organisation Design Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will lead efforts to design, analyze, and optimize organizational structures, roles, and operating models to ensure they effectively support the company’s strategic objectives and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and redesign organizational structures (current and future states) aligned with business strategy and organisational principles.
- Conduct diagnostics on existing structures, assessing factors like spans of control, layers, role distribution, and efficiency.
- Identify structural inefficiencies such as duplications or unclear accountability and propose improvements.
- Translate strategic decisions into clear organizational models, roles, and responsibilities.
- Support job evaluation processes and ensure internal consistency of roles, titles, and grades across the organization.
- Advise senior leaders and HR teams on organisation design options, considerations, and implications.
- Provide insights and data analysis to support evidence-based decisions, including dashboards and trend reports.
- Assist with large-scale reorganizations, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Deliver training and coaching in organisation design principles and best practices.
- Maintain and develop standards, templates, and frameworks to support ongoing organisational design initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Organisation Design, Development, or HR Transformation.
- Proven experience with job evaluation systems (preferably KornFerry Hay) and complex reorganizations.
- Strong analytical skills, familiarity with people analytics, and ability to develop business cases.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience with organization design within similar industries is a plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and job evaluation systems.
- Analytical mindset, flexibility, and a collaborative approach.
