Role Description
As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you will be responsible for running a production line within a highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will operate advanced equipment, ensure compliance with GMP standards, and actively contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization.
This role requires a hands-on, analytical, and quality-driven professional with a proactive mindset and strong technical insight. You will collaborate closely with operators, line leads, supervisors, and other stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated production lines according to established procedures and GMP standards.
  • Perform line changeovers, monitor process parameters, and ensure accurate documentation in SAP/MES.
  • Collect, analyze, and report process data to identify trends or deviations.
  • Ensure process continuity, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate when needed.
  • Participate in problem-solving, root cause analyses (RCA), and improvement initiatives (LEAN, Kaizen, 5WHY).
  • Maintain operational accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth shift handovers.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to the elimination of waste and process inefficiencies.
  • Ensure all mandatory training and certifications are up to date.

Requirements
  • MBO level (Technical or Process direction) and/or VAPRO A/B certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a technical or process operator.
  • Experience in GMP/GDP or ISO-certified environments is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certified Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and MES.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
