Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Control Analyst to join the finance team at a key manufacturing location in Zoetermeer. This role owns balance sheet and free cash flow forecasting and analysis, drives strong governance and process improvements, and partners closely with senior operations leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans. It is a high-visibility “stepping stone” role with strong exposure to manufacturing finance and business partnering.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of balance sheet and free cash flow forecasts and actuals analysis, ensuring robust assumptions and efficient processes.
- Lead credit & cash committees and improve governance, content, and decision quality.
- Own the delivery of material cost variance analysis and translate drivers into clear actions.
- Own and strengthen S1 and full-year landing processes, ensuring strong free cash flow governance with the controlling team, shared services, and key stakeholders.
- Act as finance business partner to one or more senior operations leaders and department managers.
- Partner with central finance teams and contribute to strategic finance roadmap delivery.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and drive action plans with stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement of finance control processes and tools.
- Manage stakeholders proactively at site and regional level.
- Act as process owner for relevant internal controls and own controlling activities for corporate costs.
Requirements
- 3–5 years relevant finance experience in a complex, multinational environment (operations/manufacturing controlling is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills; rigorous and accurate with data and governance.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including with non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, reliable, open-minded, team-oriented; able to learn fast and show growth potential.
- Comfortable working on-site in Zoetermeer (Netherlands).
- Temporary Full-Time Contract (6 Months)
