Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Support Engineer to join our web support team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the company’s website and web-based applications. This role involves providing technical support, analyzing site issues, and collaborating with other teams to ensure optimal web performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Assist in the implementation of website updates and new features.
- Support the team in resolving website bugs and errors.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to ensure the site remains up-to-date and secure.
- Document issues, solutions, and procedures to maintain accurate records.
- Support website security protocols and backups.
- Assist in testing new web applications or features before deployment.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior experience in web support or related roles is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as needed.
