Role description
The Junior Support Engineer is responsible for supporting IT applications used in manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role ensures systems remain reliable, compliant, and efficient by supporting daily operations, system changes, and improvement initiatives. The position works closely with system owners and technical teams to maintain and improve IT systems.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily operations of IT applications in manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Assist in managing system changes, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Track system issues and support root cause analysis.
- Support IT service management processes such as incident and change management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements.
- Support implementation of new technologies and system updates.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Around 1–3 years of experience in IT support within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Knowledge of IT service management processes.
- Understanding of regulatory environments such as pharmaceutical or similar industries is a plus.
- Basic technical knowledge of operating systems, databases, and applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proactive and structured working approach.
