About the Role
This role supports global quality activities within external manufacturing. You ensure that product quality, compliance and performance at partner production sites meet internal standards and regulatory expectations. You will manage complaints, batch releases, supplier quality processes and improvement initiatives while working closely with multiple departments and international manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage, follow up and report customer and consumer complaints
- Coordinate and execute batch release processes in collaboration with external manufacturers
- Release finished product batches in SAP
- Drive and support improvement projects and root cause analysis activities
- Manage and report supplier quality performance
- Provide product, specification, analyses and certificate information to internal stakeholders
- Support QA, Procurement, Supply Chain and R&D on quality matters
- Assist QA Specialists in monitoring and improving quality performance at external manufacturing sites
- Complete monthly KPI reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related scientific field
- 4 years or more experience, ideally within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge or affinity with QA, QA systems and database management
- Experience with SAP and office software tools
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
- Analytical, structured and detail-oriented with the ability to see the holistic view
- Strong stakeholder and cultural awareness
- Proactive, self-driven and able to work independently
- Experience with dairy processes is an advantage
