Role Description
The Maintenance Technician ensures production continuity by diagnosing and resolving breakdowns, performing maintenance, and supporting technical installations across the factory. The role requires working independently in a 5?shift system after onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related breakdowns
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance
- Support production teams across the full process chain
- Record activities and findings in SAP PM
- Update technical documentation and analyze breakdown trends
- Coordinate external technicians and ensure safe working practices
Requirements
- MBO Level 4 in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical, or similar
- Experience in an industrial production environment
- Certified Low Voltage Person (NEN3140 VP) or willingness to obtain
- Strong troubleshooting skills (60% electrical / 40% mechanical)
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership
- Experience with SCADA or process automation is a plus
