Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Sample Coordinator to join a leading biotech company's Quality Control team. This role focuses on managing sample workflows within a fast-paced environment to support the development of next-generation cancer immunotherapies. The successful candidate will ensure accurate handling, storage, and distribution of samples, contributing to high-quality QC processes and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the QC sample management area, following 5S principles.
-Distribute and receive QC samples and related materials, including handling samples stored at -80°C and in liquid nitrogen.
-Transfer samples between storage facilities efficiently and accurately.
-Support sample accessioning and disposal according to established procedures.
-Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, and safety standards.
-Participate in small improvement projects to optimize workflows.
-Escalate non-conformities or deviations promptly.
-Support the overall sample flow and ensure timely processing amid high-volume operations.
-Additional duties as assigned to support QC operations.
Requirements
-Secondary-level laboratory education or equivalent (preferably level 3/4).
-Experience in QC or sample management within biotech or pharmaceutical settings is preferred.
-Basic laboratory techniques and familiarity with GMP and SOPs.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Good verbal and reading English skills.
-Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
-Ability to be on-site from 7 AM until midnight as required.
-Candidates with a driving license are preferred due to shift timings.
