About the Role:
As a Technician/Mechanic, you ensure smooth production by quickly resolving disruptions during shift operations under the Technical Lead. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurring failures. Ensure proper system restarts after maintenance and accurately document all activities in systems like SAP and logbooks. Proactively identify structural issues and communicate improvement opportunities to the preventive maintenance team. Work in a 5-shift schedule, including nights and weekends, requiring flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve production malfunctions quickly to minimize downtime during shift operations.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify failure causes and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure proper restart and functionality of systems after maintenance activities.
- Accurately document maintenance work, updates, and completion status in systems (e.g., SAP, logbooks).
- Identify structural/recurring issues and report improvement opportunities to the preventive maintenance team.


Requirements:
- MBO Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering (WTB), mechatronics, or industrial automation.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, fault finding, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
- Proven ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve technical issues in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as food, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently, along with good command of the Dutch language.
