Role Description
As an Order Processing Specialist, you play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth order fulfillment for both domestic and export customers. You will manage a dedicated customer portfolio, handling the full order cycle—from receiving orders and verifying product availability to coordinating transport, delivery, and accurate invoicing. In this position, you serve as a central point of contact for customers, collaborating closely with internal teams to resolve operational issues quickly and professionally. You are also expected to support all business lines within the group and become a trusted go?to person for resolving day?to?day operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality customer service by managing requests promptly, professionally, and with a focus on long-term customer satisfaction.
- Continuously enhancing your understanding of internal processes, work instructions, quality documentation, and governance standards; proactively identify and address knowledge gaps.
- Acting as a key liaison between Planning, Sales, Business, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient order handling and maximize value for the organization.
- Providing cross-functional support and acting as backup for other business units, becoming a reliable contact during operational issues.
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders (Planning, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to support smooth operational performance.
- Ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintaining accurate customer master data in SAP, working closely with the Master Data team to secure correct deliveries, invoicing, and communication.
Requirements
- College degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in SAP (ERP systems) and MS Office.
- 1–2 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain.
- Solid practical knowledge of SAP/ERP, particularly for order entry.
- Experience as an Order Entry Support Specialist with advanced SAP expertise is a strong plus.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of an additional language relevant to the region under your responsibility is preferred.
