Job Description
Our client is looking for a Facility Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of site facilities and technical systems. This role is focused on keeping building services and equipment in strong working order, resolving technical issues quickly, and helping to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building services and general site infrastructure
- Support maintenance activities for systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related equipment
- Coordinate with external service providers and contractors when required
- Keep maintenance records accurate and up to date
- Contribute to site improvement initiatives that increase reliability, safety, and efficiency
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with site procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Experience in facilities, maintenance engineering, or a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of building systems and general maintenance activities
- Ability to identify technical issues and solve them effectively
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment is an advantage
