About the role
The All-round Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure smooth operations. The role focuses on both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a high-tech production environment. You will independently diagnose malfunctions and implement effective solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. Collaboration with a close-knit maintenance team is essential to ensure production continuity.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and resolve technical malfunctions efficiently
- Support production continuity by ensuring machines operate safely and reliably
- Use maintenance management systems to document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance
Requirements
- MBO4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Certification as Low-Voltage Skilled Person (NEN3140 VP) or willingness to obtain it
- Knowledge of automation, control technology, and calibration processes
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and measurement & control systems
- Familiarity with maintenance systems such as SAP PM is an advantage
