A renowned dairy producer with a rich history spanning over a century, operating at one of the largest production sites. The company specializes in processing milk and whey into valuable ingredients for various stages of life, focusing on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Borculo. The successful candidate will oversee operational and project-based logistics activities, contributing to the ongoing development and efficiency of our supply chain processes. This role involves leading improvement initiatives and supporting strategic projects to ensure the logistics function is prepared for future challenges.

Responsibilities
-Lead a team of four expedition employees, ensuring smooth daily operations.
-Plan, develop, and implement logistics improvement projects following DMAIC methodology.
-Act as a key representative for the logistics department during daily management meetings.
-Participate in multidisciplinary operational teams focused on continuous improvement.
-Monitor and report monthly logistics KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
-Contribute to short- and long-term logistics planning, addressing safety, environment, quality, sustainability, speed, and cost targets.
-Represent the logistics department during periodic on-call services outside of regular hours.


Requirements
-HBO or WO level education in logistics, technical business administration, or a related field.
-3-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
-Proven leadership experience, ideally in team management or project roles.
-Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and good command of English.
-Analytical mindset with experience solving complex logistics challenges.
-Knowledge of automation systems such as SAP, EWM, and MES is a plus.
-Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
