About the role
The System Test Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated system-level tests to ensure the quality and reliability of advanced IGT systems. The role focuses on integrating automation into the verification process to reduce lead time, detect defects early, and increase overall test coverage. The engineer collaborates closely with developers, system testers, and framework teams to build scalable and maintainable automation aligned with product requirements.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated system-level test scripts to ensure scalable, reliable, and reusable test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, nightly regression, and faster defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, system testers, and framework teams to align automation with system requirements and verification standards.
- Analyze, optimize, and stabilize automation suites by resolving flakiness and improving execution speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks, reporting, and quality processes in a regulated environment.


Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, with relevant experience in system or test automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Reqnroll, NUnit, Cucumber) and strong programming skills in C#, Python, or similar languages.
- Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
- Solid understanding of system testing methodologies including regression, performance, and reliability testing within a structured development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and multi-site teams.
