 Role Description
The European BI Specialist oversees the end-to-end quality, governance, and reporting of product data across SAP, PIM, and EPDM platforms. This role blends hands-on data engineering, BI development, and automation with strong stakeholder management across European markets. By developing tools, improving validation logic, coordinating cross-functional alignment, and ensuring clear communication, the position creates a reliable product-data ecosystem that supports business operations, compliance, and analytics. 

Responsibilities

• Communication & Stakeholder Alignment - leading weekly market calls to identify PIM functional gaps and guide rollout progress, hosting regular Change Request meetings to track delivery and discuss upcoming developments, organizing deep-dive sessions to clarify requirements and validate expectations, managing daily Teams interactions, provide updates, answer questions, and assign actions, offering ad-hoc support through troubleshooting, dashboard walkthroughs, and sparring sessions, handling email communication related to projects, approvals, and business queries.
• Tool Development & Data Engineering (Databricks, Azure, Power BI, Power Automate) - Databricks / Back-End Architecture, building scalable data architectures for SAP Data Quality dashboards, defining data models, field mappings, SQL generation frameworks, and ADF integrations, adjusting backend structures when business requirements change, databricks / Code Development, developing and refine validation logic for SAP data quality KPIs, implementing iterative improvements based on user feedback and testing.
• User Feedback & Continuous Improvement - collecting, validating, and incorporating end-user feedback to refine SAP DQ rules and improve adoption, power BI Reporting, creating complete Power BI reports (data models, KPIs, visualizations, QA, and redesign work), overseeing EPDM dashboard enhancements, including backend alignment and asset page redesigns.
• Power Automate Automation - running requirement-gathering sessions with markets, exploring technical feasibility and build automated workflows with multiple development cycles, EPDM Dashboard Tooling & Governance, facilitating cross-market discussions to standardize metrics and quality indicators, develop validation rules aligned with SAP data-quality backend logic.
• Future SAP–PIM Data Integrity Dashboard - supporting backend, coding, and reporting steps, 
• Data Governance & Quality Management - maintaining accurate data lineage and update dependencies when new tables/objects are introduced, ensuring consistent data models and alignment across SAP, PIM, GDS, and EPDM systems, promoting strong governance practices with both markets and internal stakeholders. 

Requirements

• Strong Databricks experience (SQL, data engineering).
• Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, visualizations).
• Power Automate workflow development.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and data orchestration.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and validation frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-market and cross-team interactions.
• Ability to translate complex data topics into business-friendly language.
• Structured problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong facilitation and collaboration capabilities across multiple countries and teams.
