Role Description
This role focuses on engineering design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of advanced manufacturing equipment within a formulation area involving Beta Lactam processes. You will act as the technical owner for specific equipment, solve remaining design and automation challenges, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and manage vendor and internal stakeholder relationships through late-stage project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts for complex manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Serve as subject matter expert for equipment used in the Beta Lactam formulation area.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and end?user SMEs.
- Maintain strong partnerships with design and construction firms across Europe
Support FAT activities at vendor locations.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification activities for the assigned equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Bio)Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Food Technology
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or high?tech industries within capital projects.
- Experience with hygienic design, powder handling, or Beta Lactams is preferred.
- Knowledge of EudraLex Volume 4 GMP, EU GMP Annex 1, EHEDG, and ISPE guidelines.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and equipment integration.
- Excellent English skills; Dutch preferred but not mandatory.
