Role Description
As you are responsible for operating high-tech manufacturing equipment in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with strict quality standards. As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you play a critical role in supporting the timely delivery of high-quality medicines, contributing directly to the organization’s commitment to patients and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production lines according to detailed operating procedures.
- Collect, document, and analyze process data to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Execute change-overs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes as part of a continuous improvement team.
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors, line leads, and other operators to meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems such as SAP and MES.
- Escalate and resolve any atypical events, ensuring seamless process continuity.
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives, including root cause analysis and process enhancements.
- Ensure all training is completed timely and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to logistics and administrative tasks related to manufacturing activities.
- Support shift handovers with comprehensive reporting and communication.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment as a process or technical operator (preferably GMP or ISO certified).
- Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement, with relevant Yellow or Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or MES.
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP or ISO regulations.
- MBO (technical or process) education, VAPRO A and B certifications, with additional lean/six sigma training.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting, data analysis, and process optimization.
