Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist for consumer packaging to join the quality assurance team at a major manufacturing facility. This temporary role, lasting 9 to 12 months, offers an opportunity to contribute to ensuring product quality and production continuity in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
-Conduct validations and verifications of quality processes
-Track and ensure follow-up actions from quality investigations
-Monitor project outcomes and report on quality metrics
-Lead short-term improvement initiatives to enhance packaging quality
-Perform observation rounds on the shop floor to ensure compliance with quality standards
-Apply a pragmatic approach to quality issues, knowing when to ask questions and when to act
-Collaborate effectively across departments to support quality assurance efforts
Requirements
-HBO-level education or equivalent in a relevant field
-Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a QA role, preferably in the food industry or similar environment
-Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
-Experience with SAP is a plus
