Role Description
We are seeking a Financial Reporting & Controls Specialist to support a key transition period and help establish a strong financial foundation for a newly forming entity. The role focuses on group reporting, IFRS and Dutch GAAP reporting, month-end close preparation, and implementation of a robust internal controls framework.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and implementing group reporting processes for reporting to Aequita.
- Preparing and coordinating Local GAAP and IFRS financial reporting, identifying gaps, and creating templates.
- Developing management reports to support business decision-making.
- Assisting in the preparation for day-one month-end closing, ensuring all processes and tools are ready.
- Supporting month-end close activities during the two-month hive-down period (March and April).
- Documenting existing closing and consolidation activities performed in the Houston office for transfer.
- Coordinating the handover of closing and consolidation processes to the future Country Controller.
- Designing and supporting the implementation of an internal controls framework, aligned with organizational needs.

Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting within complex or multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP (RJ).
- Proven experience preparing statutory accounts in the Netherlands.
- Experience with audits, internal controls, and legal entity governance.
- Familiarity with Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and business combination accounting.
