Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic team based in Amersfoort. In this critical role, you will be responsible for aligning production with demand, ensuring seamless operations across multiple facilities to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Convert sales forecasts and demand data into detailed production schedules.
- Collaborate with teams from sales, logistics, production, and quality assurance to ensure product availability across various sites.
- Utilize advanced planning tools to create and update production plans, balancing inventory, capacity, and material availability.
- Track stock levels, monitor production progress, and make adjustments as needed to address changes or disruptions.
- Act as the main liaison for production planning, addressing any deviations and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate current planning processes and suggest improvements, contributing to supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics, including customer service levels and inventory age, to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
Requirements
- A degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant supply chain planning experience, ideally in the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in SAP planning systems; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a solution-focused mindset.
