Role Description
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Team Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities in a busy food production environment. The successful candidate will manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensure the smooth operation of machinery and facilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a team of planners and maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical, and all-round).
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance and timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets, report on KPIs, and provide regular updates on maintenance performance and downtime.
- Prepare annual maintenance plans, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and keep detailed records in SAP PM.
- Standardize maintenance procedures in line with company policies and key performance indicators.
- Analyze failure data to identify opportunities for process improvements, participating in continuous improvement projects like TPM and Lean.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, such as LOTOTO and work permit procedures, fostering a safe working environment.
Requirements
- HBO education with a technical focus preferred.
- 5-8 years of management and maintenance experience, ideally in the food or dairy industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, particularly within the food sector.
- Experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
- Leadership and people management skills, with excellent communication abilities in Dutch and English.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work on-site with some flexibility for remote work (1 day WFH under discussion).
