About the Position
For the laboratory department at the Beilen production location, we are looking for a temporary Team Lead Laboratory. In this role, you will step in to coordinate daily laboratory operations and guide a team of approximately 15 analysts across microbiological, physical-chemical, and sample logistics activities. You will work in a fast-paced production environment where maintaining focus on quality and safety is essential during both busy and quieter periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day activities of the laboratory team
- Provide (informal) leadership and act as the first point of contact for lab-related matters
- Ensure work is carried out in line with internal procedures, quality standards, and legal regulations
- Contribute to the Quality Control annual plan and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Quality Assurance, Technology, and Production
- Monitor planning, workload, and performance to keep operations running smoothly
- Safeguard safety, compliance, and data accuracy within the lab
Requirements
- HBO (Bachelor) working and thinking level
- Experience leading or coordinating a team
- Background in analytical chemistry
- Preferably laboratory experience and familiarity with ISO 17025
- Knowledge of dairy processes (especially milk powder) is a strong plus
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Fluent Dutch is required
