Role Description
The Quality Specialist Production acts as the key quality and hygiene expert within the production environment, supporting manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, batch record review, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role ensures compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and food safety regulations, while actively contributing to audits, root-cause analysis, and hygiene improvements across the production chain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for quality and hygiene issues within production, supporting troubleshooting, improvements, and project work.
• Assist with batch record checks and suggest process enhancements.
• Support the implementation and adherence to quality agreements with clients.
• Prepare for and facilitate customer audits and inspections.
• Conduct root-cause analyses on complaints and advise on preventive measures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project teams focused on quality improvements.
• Promote a strong culture of hygiene and safety across the production chain.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Food Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with monitoring and data-driven approach.
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft tools, manufacturing, and data systems.
• Industry experience in dairy or powder production is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory.
