Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Poduct Development Manager to join the Specialized Nutrition divsion. In this role, you will lead the creation of consumer-focused products that align with the category’s mission. You will ensure a holistic approach to product design, integrating consumer insights, scientific and health considerations, nutritional and regulatory compliance, and cost/value optimization. Your work will be key to delivering high-quality products with excellence and precision.
Responsibilities
- Driving efficient and effective product design and development to support category growth through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Representing SN R&I as the technological lead in project teams, ensuring alignment and strong execution.
- Guaranteeing the quality and consistency of new formulation qualification and validation processes.
- Applying robust design principles, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with SN R&I standards.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Technology, Bioprocessing, Nutrition Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in product development or R&D, ideally within Specialized Nutrition.
- Strong technical expertise in specialized nutrition and proficiency with product design and development tools.
- Solid understanding of quality and food safety standards for this category.
- Knowledge of qualification and validation processes.
- Familiarity with project management fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
- Innovative mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.
