The Company
The company is a global chemical company and one of the largest producers of plastics, chemicals, and refining products. It specializes in the production of polypropylene, polyethylene, advanced polymers, and other chemicals used in a wide range of industries, including packaging, automotive, and construction.
 

About the role:
The
Production Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient loading of trucks and RTCs at the production site, working in a shift-based environment. The role includes performing technical and safety checks, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with ADR and safety regulations. The operator conducts routine inspections, supports maintenance activities, and maintains high housekeeping standards. Collaboration with supervisors and team members is essential to ensure smooth operations.
 

Responsibilities:
- Safely load trucks and RTCs, including performing technical, weight, and ADR compliance checks.
- Handle all related administrative tasks such as documentation, labeling, and certification verification.
- Conduct routine operational and safety inspections, ensuring proper housekeeping of the LLD area.
- Perform basic maintenance activities and report technical issues through SAP maintenance notifications.
- Support safe and reliable plant operations by following HSE procedures, permits, and shift reporting requirements.
 

Requirements:
- Vocational technical education (VAPRO A or VAPRO B) or equivalent qualification in process or manufacturing operations.
- Several years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in chemical or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures, including ADR regulations and basic operator activities.
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow HSE procedures, permits, and operational instructions.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., SAP or similar systems), strong teamwork abilities, and good communication skills in Dutch; basic English is an advantage.
