Role Description
As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating technical spare parts and inventory activities for the Maintenance & Engineering department, ensuring timely availability of materials to support production and maintenance operations. You will manage ordering, receiving, storage, kitting, and system updates in Maximo (transitioning to SAP) while working closely with vendors, technicians, and engineers in a GMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow cGMP guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Develop and implement Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) related to maintenance activities.
  • Contact vendors to request quotations, place orders for spare parts, and monitor delivery until the materials are received.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately register incoming spare parts, creating new inventory items in Maximo as needed.
  • Store spare parts in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and documentation.
  • Manage the return of spare parts for repair or calibration, preparing and processing necessary documentation, inspecting items upon return, and updating inventory records.
  • Prepare work kits for urgent repairs, projects, or downtime, assembling required spare parts, updating inventory, and coordinating delivery to technicians.

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, such as Maximo, or similar tools.
  • Forklift or handling equipment experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, or facilities management environments is preferred.
  • Technical background with a focus on administration, planning, or scheduling.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
