The client is a global most recognizable food and beverage brand in Amsterdam. 

Role Description
The eCommerce Analyst plays a central role in strengthening global online retail results across Amazon and major grocery retailers. This position is responsible for generating clear, actionable insights and building scalable, standardized reporting and analytics practices used across global and regional teams. Ideal for someone with solid experience in eCommerce or retail analytics, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of global reporting frameworks, influence how performance is measured across markets, and collaborate closely with regional stakeholders. The focus is on performance tracking, data accuracy, and enabling informed decision?making through consistent analytical standards. 

Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing global eCommerce reporting structures, KPI definitions, and dashboards.
  • Building efficient performance?tracking frameworks to support global and regional teams.
  • Prioritizing and coordinating analytics initiatives based on business value and complexity.
  • Improving Power BI dashboards and automating reporting where possible.
  • Partnering with regional eCommerce teams to ensure consistent data interpretation and usage across markets.
  • Delivering recurring performance reports and contribute to monthly business reviews at global, regional, and local levels.
  • Analyzing execution and performance across Amazon, pure players, and grocery retailers using both internal and external datasets.
  • Identifying patterns, risks, and growth opportunities across categories, markets, and retailers.
  • Providing deep dives into brand- and product-level performance.
  • Supporting analyses of promotional periods, seasonal spikes, and media effectiveness.
  • Assessing the impact of media, promotions, content quality, and pricing strategies on sales outcomes and market share.
  • Contributing to forecasting and strategic planning with robust performance insights. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, ideally with exposure to Amazon or other major eCommerce retailers.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • High proficiency in Excel and Power BI; comfortable managing both routine reporting and deeper analytical projects.
  • Strong commercial mindset and understanding of P&L drivers and in?market performance levers. Experience with performance marketing or Amazon media is beneficial.
  • Excellent command of English and ease in working with global teams across cultures and time zones.
  • Self?driven, independent, and confident in using data to influence decision?making.
