Role Description
In this support role for the Central Inventory Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing spare-parts inventory, ensuring correct handling, storage, and documentation of materials within the Engineering department. You will work closely with technicians, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient material flow and uninterrupted operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily inventory coordination tasks in line with cGMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Ensure quality, compliance, and accurate handling of all spare-parts and materials
- Contact vendors, request quotations, place and track orders
- Receive, inspect, register, and store incoming materials
- Manage returned materials, repairs, and calibration workflows
- Prepare complete work kits for technicians and engineers
- Maintain accurate documentation and system records in Maximo
Requirements
- Relevant experience in administration, planning, scheduling, logistics, or maintenance support
- Experience with computerized systems (Maximo preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, service-minded, and proactive attitude
- Able to follow procedures and work in a structured environment
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Flexible and comfortable with change
- Technical affinity is a strong plus
