About the Position
As a System Owner Engineer, you are responsible for the technical systems throughout their full life cycle. You ensure systems are safe, compliant, reliable, and ready for operation. The role includes on-call duty.
Responsibilities

Act as technical owner and subject matter expert for assigned systems

Support system design, commissioning, and handover

Ensure proper operation and maintenance according to standards and regulations

Manage system changes, upgrades, and decommissioning
-
Maintain system documentation and inspection readiness

Support audits, inspections, and improvement activities
-
Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
-
Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food
-
Knowledge of technical utility systems (heating and ventilation, compressed air, building systems, fire safety)
-
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
-
Installation responsibility certification or willingness to obtain it
-
Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
