Role Description
As Head of Engineering & Operations, you will lead all engineering and maintenance activities at a complex manufacturing site. You will ensure the reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of production equipment, facilities, and utilities, while driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement in alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute the site engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure reliable and compliant operation of all equipment, facilities, and utilities.
- Manage engineering budgets, including capital and operational expenditures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement engineering best practices.
- Lead engineering projects, including the introduction of new assets and systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards and support audits and inspections.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage external suppliers and contractors.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading engineering teams in a regulated industrial environment.
- Strong experience in maintenance, CAPEX/OPEX management, and continuous improvement.
- Solid knowledge of GMP and EHS regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).
