About the Role
As a Plant Engineering Lead you  will oversee all engineering operations at a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This strategic leadership role focuses on ensuring compliance, optimising processes, and driving continuous improvement while managing technical equipment and facilities to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance teams, fostering innovation and accountability.
- Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain production equipment, facilities, and utilities in optimal condition.
- Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement new technologies to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with business objectives.
- Represent the company in supplier and subcontractor communications.
- Build and develop a high-performing engineering team through recruitment and training.

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading engineering teams in a regulated industry.
- Strong expertise in maintenance, facilities, and utility systems.
- Proven experience managing capital and operational expenses.
- Knowledge of GMP, EH&S regulations, and good engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with multi-project oversight.
- Financial acumen and continuous improvement experience.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset.
