Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee maintenance operations at our Leerdam facility. You will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance plans, and drive initiatives to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of around 20 maintenance professionals, including all-around technicians, day-shift technicians, and work planners.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime.
- Analyze failure data and downtime reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and regularly review maintenance plans focusing on cost efficiency, reliability, and availability.
- Report on performance metrics, maintenance KPIs, and progress on improvement projects to senior management.
Requirements
- HBO-level technical education in a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of experience in maintenance management within manufacturing or food packaging industries.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving techniques.
