Role Overview
As Maintenance Team Lead, you will manage and optimise the technical maintenance department at a high-volume production site. You’ll lead a team of technicians and planners, ensuring maximum machine uptime through preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting. This role is pivotal for operational continuity and compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
-Lead, coach, and develop a team of ±20 maintenance professionals (multi-shift technicians and planners).
-Ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and company procedures.
-Drive preventive maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Analyse breakdown data and optimise maintenance plans for reliability and cost efficiency.
-Manage KPIs, budgets, and performance reporting for the maintenance department.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth production operations.
 
Requirements
-HBO-level technical degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
-5–10 years’ experience in maintenance leadership within FMCG or food manufacturing.
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and motivate teams.
-Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
-Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar) and MS Office.
-Analytical mindset, stress resilience, and a focus on continuous improvement.
