About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you will manage technology projects that support small molecule manufacturing and lead global strategic initiatives. This role focuses on sterile suspended biopharmaceuticals, process optimisation, and technology transfer, ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support technology projects for sterile manufacturing processes.
- Manage changes related to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
- Conduct root cause investigations for major manufacturing or quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and technology transfer projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external labs (including occasional travel across Europe).
- Introduce new processes/products and ensure effective change management.
- Facilitate kaizen events and coach stakeholders on process improvements.
- Analyse and prioritise technical/business process improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements
- MSc level education or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical -Engineering, or Biotechnology.
- Strong functional and technical expertise with equipment and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English).
- Experience in GMP and aseptic techniques.
- Project management knowledge; Green Belt certification preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with fact-based decision-making.
- Ability to influence colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Minimum 1+ year experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Availability for a long-term assignment (preferably more than 1 year).

Other Information
Occasional travel across Europe.
Long-term contract preferred.
