The client is one of the Netherlands’ biggest dairy products manufacturers who is also active globally.   

Role Description
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance and troubleshooting technicians, as well as work planners within the technical department. Your role ensures the optimal performance of our production lines and installations by organizing both daily and preventive maintenance and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will coordinate the 24/5 troubleshooting service to guarantee maximum machine output. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of our grating, slicing, and packaging lines. 

Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, motivating, and evaluating a team of approximately 20 employees (multi-shift technicians, day-shift technicians, and work planners).
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and facilitating improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring efficient and customer-focused execution of troubleshooting services and preventive maintenance.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, minor modifications, and improvement projects.
  • Periodically reviewing and optimizing maintenance strategies for availability, reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Analyzing breakdown data to improve maintenance processes.
  • Providing daily direction and performance reporting for technical installations and your team.
  • Reporting on breakdowns, maintaining budget progress, and KPIs; advising Maintenance Manager on improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment regulations and procedures.
Requirements
  • Completed technical education at HBO (Bachelor) level.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in maintenance and leadership.
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical, results-driven, quality-focused, and resilient under pressure.
  • Experience in prioritization and promoting continuous improvement.
